I know. Strange name. TiVo has a VERY polished user interface. HD HomeRun's user interface takes a little getting used to. They don't use a grid guide or a guide like TiVo's because they avoid licensing fees. Once you get used to how they work, things will work pretty well. If you've used the HomeRun HD DVR service in the past, that's not a problem if you just want a box that simply records TV from one of your devices. Tuner. There doesn't seem to be any difference I can tell when using the DVR in this box, on my Mac, or outside of the Nvidia shield. Everything works the same. The box is small and thin (in a 2.5 inch laptop drive). Just plug it into the network and you're done. I'm glad I got it and I'm happy with everything. The HD HomeRun system as is. I can stream to my TVs, computers and phones. She just works.
