Review on 💜 24oz Radiant Orchid Contigo AUTOSPOUT Straw Addison Water Bottle by Jeff Aulia

This bottle is perfect for me, I've had one before but this is the first one I've ordered online. Large capacity, holds half the recommended daily amount of water (4 cups) but makes good use of space to fit medium to large sized bottles. The pop-up lid button works well too, useful for one-handed drinking. The retaining ring is strong and will not break when the bottle is hung on a backpack or anything else. EASY TO CLEAN - The dishwasher does the cleaning of the entire item. If you open the top (button pressed) in the washing machine, it can wash through the neck. The straw stays in place, is durable and easy to put on and take off. Durability. I dropped mine on the sidewalk about 4 feet from the truck. The bottle has some scuffs (you can see it in the photo) but there are no leaks or cracks! Very happy with it. Only 2 cons of the bottle, not enough to take away my 5 stars but something to think about: due to the way the pressure management works, when you drink, air enters the bottle to equalize the pressure through the 1-way rubber valve a little behind the neck (shown in 2 pictures). If the bottle is upside down and shaken for a long time, this one-way rubber valve can prevent leakage when the valve is dirty. The leak is very slow, maybe 1-2 drops per minute, but it's a leak. However, the bottle is rarely completely upside down (it does not run out to the side). Another difficulty is the rubber ring that keeps the cap tight on the bottle when screwed in (see one of the pictures). This ring can (sort of) come off and is very difficult to put back on (5-8 minutes work). For 6-8 months he came from me only twice. I managed to get it back using the soft end of 2-3 silverware to hold it in place while stretching it back into place. Edit: Dropped again from about 6ft and still no cracks! Small abrasions on the bottle from impact but it stays put!
