I saw 4 paws in the pet store selling canned Cricket food and decided to buy it for my gerbil mice. I know that this is an excellent source of animal protein for rodents and not only, crickets can be given to birds, fish, reptiles, in general, all insectivores. The food is sold in a small tin can weighing 40 g, it is additionally closed with a plastic lid, because after opening the can, the product can be stored for no more than 7 days and this lid comes in handy. The jar contains only a natural product - crickets, without additives and preservatives. The crickets in the jar are all whole, there are quite a lot of them, they have almost no smell - this is a plus. Given that protein is essential in a mouse diet, and my mice refused both egg white and white chicken meat, I had to give them dried gammarus, crickets were an excellent way out - mice eat them with great appetite.
