Pictures are straight from opening the package. Suppose to be brand new. Not sure if this is rust or…something else, whatever it was was all gummy and sticky. Rest of the metal is smudged and scuffed. Luckily my wrist is smaller and I was able to remove the affect links entirely. Which brings me to my second issue with this band. It comes with literally no instructions on how to remove links and they provide you with this flimsy tool that is designed to remove the pegs from the links…like other bands. I struggled to remove the links this way until I discovered that every link is connected by a clasp which I could just snap open without the tool at all. Which brings me to issue 3, the clasps suck. They are stiff and hard to slip into the next link and snap closed or open. I will literally need someone to put my watch on my wrist for me because they cannot be worked single handed. Not to mention the design doesn’t keep the watch snug to your skin so I highly doubt the HR monitor or step counter on my watch will be accurate with this band. I could not see wearing the band for more than a day. A huge disappointment as I was hoping to swap this band onto my Garmin for my wedding. Only good thing noted is that it does actual fit my garmin vivomove HR watch.
