This luxurious silk pillowcase is beautifully packaged and ready for gifting. The durable outer sleeve slides off to reveal the box with a magnetic opening and the pillowcase is well protected in a plastic envelope and wrapped in tissue paper. I've recently switched to silk pillowcases and it wasn't until the last year that I realized how affordable they can be. They are really soft, smooth and comfortable to sleep in and this pillowcase seems to be one of the best. I've never bought really expensive silk pillowcases; the ones that cost $100 or more, but I've bought a few silk pillowcases at lower prices, from 19 to 25 mums, and I'm very happy with all of them. I find the heavier weights (22 momme and 25 momme) a bit more expensive but they work better over time. I take great care of all my silks and hand wash and dry out of direct sunlight. This pillowcase weighs 22m and has a lightweight yet durable feel and drape well. I ordered pink, a very pale shimmery colour, the fabric is beautifully woven and has a lovely sheen. The pillowcase is beautifully designed with straight, even stitching, well stitched and finished (no french stitching). There is a hidden zipper (nylon or plastic, I don't know which) with a metal pull that works smoothly. No wrinkles, neither at the seams nor at the zipper. I ordered a queen size and it fits my generously filled pillow perfectly. I've never heard of this brand (there's a little "ghost" logo in one corner), and at just over $50 it seems like a bit of a luxe, but I've found that the silk with a little TLC holds up very well over time. I think this pillowcase is well made and beautiful and would be a great way to treat yourself or make a great gift for a friend or family member.
