Installation took a lot of effort and a trip to the hardware store. Because the fixture sits flush with the ceiling, you rely on two studs blindly driven through the insulated backing into the main mounting surface containing the bulbs. Extremely unpleasant! Not long enough! Go to a hardware store and buy two screws twice the length of the ones in the kit that go through the mounting washer. Also take two washers and two wing nuts. Ready-made nuts are unnecessarily annoying and useless for longer screws. They will never be visible and will not properly support the lightweight backplate without shims. See my photos. I accidentally picked up the cool colored LED lightbulbs that are going back. HAVE FUN!
