We had to downsize the car and it was a disaster. Three children in the back seat, two of them have sensory problems, among other things. It was such a strong fight! So my husband and I swapped out our old car seats for smaller sizes so we could reconfigure them and after a lot of research we found them! that goes up to 65 pounds! This is a rare find for such a small seat. To be fair our third seat is a Bubble Bum Booster which takes up less space but I think we could get three seats and we easily have two of those seats next to each other. Even if I personally wouldn't pay for the sport just for the insole, it's a very good insole. Our Nautilus also had an inset, but it was subtle and only for minimal adjustments. We made the back longer so it was useless to us because the kids were too big. But this seat is two-piece and thicker, so I think it will help a small child in rear-facing mode. We're from Britax and my favorite Grace Nautilus so it seems a bit cheaper. And I really hate how twisted the straps are. With Gracos, our 3 and 4 year olds had no locking issues and it was easy for me to do it with one hand. At this point, one of them always has a problem. Also, it's more difficult for a 4 year old to tighten and loosen the seat with one hand from the driver's seat, which was never a problem on my Graco. Although after two weeks of use (and thumb injury) I've almost mastered opening the chest clip with one hand. Button trigger, like Brita, just that frustrating catch). Also, adjusting the straps means the seat has to be taken out of the car, but the installation was so easy that it's not as much of a hassle as changing the straps and fitting them correctly. My 4 year old is the tallest we have on the seat. It weighs nearly 50 and is about 4.5 feet long but with a long torso. I'm happy to say that it fits quite well. The seat belts open fully when I let him out of my seat and the crotch strap is too low for him in my opinion, but this guy has some kind of severe sensory processing disorder and doesn't complain about his seat (and he especially doesn't) t). Pros: affordable. It's hardly cheaper! The insert comes in two parts so it is more flexible depending on your child's size. Fits my 50lb 4 year old! I have 3 in the back seat. Easy installation! Cons: Short crotch strap. my 4 year old. Are we getting to 65 pounds? The ribbons are twisted. Buckling up is more difficult for children. It's harder to get them out. buckle in longer or you'll need a cheaper seat.
