I have used electric blankets for many years. I always read reviews before buying but this time I didn't and I really wish I had this blanket. The blanket is soft and big enough, I didn't have any issues with it slipping around as some others have mentioned. But unlit controls are a major inconvenience in the middle of the night. I always preheat my duvet on high so it's nice and warm when I go to bed and then put it away to sleep. This blanket is barely warm, preheated in high heat. It keeps me warm all night, but I don't get the initial toasting when I go to bed that I've always had with other comforters I've had. The packaging has already been disposed of, otherwise it will be returned. I would not buy again.
