Review on Solberg 04 Filter Element Diameter by Joseph Morris

I needed to replace the filter cartridge in my Dewalt D55146 air compressor. Dewalt's original replacement (part number D24322) is ridiculously expensive at around $15 for such a tiny filter. Then I found this Solberg 04 filter and compared the specs - the bottom height and width are exactly the same, only the top width (with hem) is slightly wider on Dewalt (about 1/16 inch - see picture). Solberg fits perfectly in the filter housing. The lip compresses when you close the case, creating a tight seal with no leaks. I'm very glad I found a replacement at a reasonable price.
