I have to admit I bought this light as a much cheaper option to put a red and white light in a rarely used spot on a boat. My first impression upon opening the package was much more affordable than I expected. The lamp feels very solid and the materials appear to be of high quality. The long, flexible pole feels extra strong and holds the position effortlessly. The brightness of the white light is much better than expected and has a comfortable warmth. The red light was a bit more subdued in brightness, but it's actually good for illuminating the boat cabin in the dark while cruising. I ended up switching the Acegoo light to a more important requirement and moving the more expensive sea light to a less frequented location. All in all, this lantern is excellent for use on board boats.
