The highest light level is bright and the lowest light level is low, but you can still see. Installation was pretty easy. Simple two wire connection, the hardest part of the installation was getting all the sockets out of the cabinet to get to the cab light wires. The USB port is a welcome addition, opening up an outlet and eliminating the need for the wall charger. I pierced the skin with an ice pick to find the exact spot to drill the wires and attached this light directly to the cabinet frame and it's very strong.
