Good replacement/upgrade for failed LED lights in our camper

We bought three of these to replace the failed LED lights in our Jayco camper. One didn't catch fire and we returned it in exchange for a replacement. Be sure to test it out before messing around with the install. I'm stuck with the location of the original lights on the wall above each bunk. The base of these lanterns is small so I had to make underlays to cover the holes from the larger original lanterns. I used 4 inch plexiglass sheets bought cheaply from Revain. This support had the added benefit of providing a solid foundation. The lightweight stem is quite thick and I was concerned that the weight would hang off the narrow base when mounted on the camper's relatively flexible skin. I was concerned that the light would come out of the wall if the camper crashed and swayed down the road, so I made sure the screws for the mounting plate hooked the frame to the wall. In the end they look nice to fold neatly. and unobtrusive and work very well. The flexible wand keeps the light right where you want it, and the adjustable intensity is good for any setting. My teenagers loved them!
