We originally bought two of these lights to try in a V-cabin on a sailboat. Once installed, we liked the convenience of charging our phones and the options to turn the lights on and off. The highest light level is bright and the lowest light level is low, but you can still see. Installation was pretty easy. One of the changes I would make is to have the red light come on first so as not to shock your eyes when the light is on at night. It currently starts out with a low white light and goes high and then red on and off. We liked them so much we ordered 4 more the next day and replaced the remaining lights on our boat. Oh, and they're pretty. :)
