My inspector was confused
He didn't know why I installed it as it's not required Oregon State Code. But after I told him I didn't have to turn on the taps to empty the tank, he thought it was brilliant! A faster way to flush the tank. No leakage, works as it should.
Pros
- PREVENTING: Internal vacuum conditions that could cause heaters to burn out and/or storage tanks to collapse - particularly copper
Cons
- Not bad but...
