Saved me a ton of money as Joycons are "two controllers" instead of one and having "a feature set with a full controller in each" sets them up for something incredibly expensive does that start to drift 6 months after buying a new set. While opening the joycons will void your warranty, that didn't bother me since I've had the Switch for so long that it's under warranty. Taking both controllers apart and replacing the sticks takes about an hour if you've never taken apart anything small.
