Review on Nalgene Easy Sipper: Optimized For 32 Oz Wide Mouth Bottle by Christine Bryant

So, I bought a 32 oz Nalgene bottle in blue to encourage me to up my water intake as part of a hospital system wide challenge. That Nalgene bottle is the best 10 bucks I've ever spent.I wanted to try this thing to help minimize unanticipated movement inside the bottle. I mostly fill it up with ice and a little water and drink from it as the ice melts - the ice can sometimes come crashing forward at one's face.This thing does a good job of preventing splashing and face aimed ice avalanches. It fits really surprisingly well in the 32 oz wide mouth Nalgene. The detracted two stars are for a weird unpleasant smell that doesn't seem to want to go away. It's going to be right up next to your nose when drinking, so you'll smell it. The smell influences taste, and my kickass life enhancing water tastes a smidge tainted.It does its jobs fine. I still use it, despite the unpleasant odor. It was a cheap solution to my problem. I'd give it 5 stars if it didn't stubbornly retain a strange smell, despite washings.
