As a dustpan, it's really amazing. I seem to be missing something. The two biggest issues I have with standard dust collectors are 1. 'Residual dust' - or dust that you're trying to pick up but turns into a slightly smaller streak every time you pull it out. Dirty brushes The bristles are very taut/straight and grip well. Combined with the angle, I was able to completely pick up the dust/silicone residue/sawdust/paint dust/grout/drywall dust/sugar from my tile and laminate floors. The old shovels and brushes I used always left this horrible line of dust just below the rim of the pan and it was hard to get it all off. Or 50% of the dust falls into the swamp and the rest is redistributed or released into the air. I can usually throw anything in the shovel in 2 shots. It also made it easier for me to pick up rubbish. Being able to clean this brush with a tray works in a way I've never used before and it's just awesome. When cleaning residues after remodeling, e.g. B. drywall dust which is sometimes wet or caulk/silicone which can still be tacky, cleaning the brush worked well to prevent the residue from being recirculated. The thing is very light/plastic. Some may call it cheap, let's see how it holds up. I'm worried that the latch that secures the brush to the tray will break. At this point I'm not sure how long the bristles will last either, although they seem to be of good quality and part of that may come down to if you're pressing too hard all the time. maybe the best materials, but the design and ergonomics are amazing. I don't usually sweep carpets or furniture, so I can't say how well this would work for other jobs. I can tell you if you are spilling sugar on a hard floor you will have a much easier time with this shovel compared to other shovels.
