You must be on some kind of drug if you think this modem is too big. It's pretty similar relative to any Motorola. Anyway, compared to the huge Comcast gateway I replaced with this thing, it's tiny. I don't know what people are talking about when they talk about overheating, that's normal. It works great and won't broadcast xfinity WiFi hotspot without your consent like rented modems do. This saves me about $10 a month and my connection never hangs, drops, lags or freezes. I no longer have Rocket League rubber band issues. Same speed but actual consistency so maybe just not a broken modem. I returned his predecessor to Comcast and didn't even have to tell them my name, they printed a receipt and I went my own way. Before that, TP-Link was enabled and ready to play, I no longer have claustrophobia from bad connection, short circuit or choppy firmware. Just a great cheap quality modem backed by Xfinity in Northwest USA.
