UPDATEDI took some heavy duty metal scissors and cut off part of the clip. If you look closely you can see the bottom loop that is causing the problem. I cut it so that both sides of the clip are the same length. The clip is made of relatively soft plastic and is easy to cut. Then I filed and sanded the edges. It's actually much quicker and easier to remove the strap to put it on or take it off, defeating the whole purpose of the clip. I'll try cutting off the bottom part of the clip to see if I can make it work. Holster is usable. It fits perfectly on my Leatherman Wave+, but if I need to remove the strap I can just use the Leatherman cases that came with it.
