I made the top and bottom connections very simple. But time to take the buzz off, I couldn't even put it down with my grippy gloves on. I had to fight it for 15 minutes, losing freon the whole time trying to get rid of it. I examined the pair and saw nothing wrong. I thought maybe it wouldn't come out at more than 175psi...? I connected to another car that wasn't running and it connected with no problem and showed just over 100psi. I tried to uninstall and couldn't... it was another 15 minute struggle to uninstall. It MUST be that the top connector is faulty and looking at the comments I see others with a similar problem. Be careful! ---Ordered other couplers for 134a as the calibers seem decent.
