I do a lot of hiking, and I have extremely fair skin, so I'm always on the lookout for clothing that is light, breathable, and comfortable that also offers sun protection. This item is very light feeling, soft, and the sweat evaporates pretty quickly. I wore one of these at the bottom of the Grand Canyon in the heat of the summer and remained reasonably cool, and unburned, after several hours. I found these to run large: I'm 5"6, 145 and a medium usually fits me fairly well. This medium was way roomier than I would have wanted in a hoodie like this. Of course, this depends on where you carry your weight. Mine is all in my hips, which means I might have a smaller upper body than someone with the same measurements. The only thing I don't care for is the vaguely "rubbery" feeling to the material. I don't know if its the weave, or the fiber, but I have a number of these "sun shirts" from other (more well known) manufacturers and they don't have the same feel to them. I'm particularly sensitive to textures, so you may not even feel what I am trying to describe. However, with long use the difference in this, and my (insert brand name) shirt became very apparent.Bottom line? A good option, cool comfortable and works, but maybe not for those hypersensitive to fabric feel.
