Review on 🔮 NZXT AER RGB 2 120mm Fan with Advanced Lighting Customizations and Fluid Dynamic Bearing - Black by Damon Murray

I gave the 510i Elite's case a very good review, but now I'm reconsidering as I've tried adding an expensive NZXT RGB fan to the rear: 1. The RGB controller only has two connectors. One for LED strips and one for fans. Not enough and very cheap to do it for your customers! 2. To have RGB fans, you need to connect the RGB headers between the fans, but NZXT sells these additional fans with an RGB cable that is too short to reach the front of the case.3. They then guess that you'll also need to add another overpriced NZXT RGB fan for the top of the case so they can be chained to the front. They also specifically design their fans so that the RGB connector cannot work with MB-RGB connectors other than the NZXT.5 connector. The instructions for this are awful and you read a bunch of useless fine print and get no response. The only way to get that answer is through their website or by asking a question here. You should let them know in advance by sending a list to their fans and save hours of frustration for people like me. Note. I started installing a fan and then couldn't figure out how it worked and tried many different things. Gave up and then went to their website to find the answer. No CAM software: 7. CAM software cannot control individual fans separately, so good luck customizing your case.8. The CAM software has speed settings for the RGB effects, but they tend to be too fast when set to their lowest speeds. I don't know why they need to have lighting effects with such a high frequency. Now my son's gaming PC that I'm building for his birthday tomorrow just sits there with a non-working RGB fan in the back. Many Thanks. NZHT! A great way to customize your products so people get stuck and spend more money buying a second fan when they just want to add one fan. Now I also need to have an RGB illuminated top fan which defeats the simple look I was trying to achieve. Seriously, $30 is a lot for a fan, and you could at least provide a cable long enough to connect the fan. rear with fan in front. Seriously, it changed my whole perspective on the case and the company. Actually, I wanted to buy another suitcase. Not now and think of the return of the elite. Too many cons in this fan situation! Don't buy NZXT!
