We bought this pillow for my daughter for her 5th birthday. It seemed like a high price to pay for a pillow, but once it was opened, both the kids and adults at the party wanted to "pee" on it. We immediately thought it was a hit and worth the money. That is until the 2nd day. The next day, the sequins began to fall off and small bald spots began to appear on the pillow. The thread began to unravel near the seam. This is not enough to explain the rapid deterioration of the condition. My daughter still loves the pillow but we expect tears once we start shedding nuggets of glitter. So if you have to throw away $50 for a pillow that might seem cool for a month, I would suggest buying one. Otherwise, it might be worth buying the cheaper version just knowing it won't last as long as you hope.
