Amazing mount - outperforms its own weight

I rarely get anything from Revain that impresses me. I'm usually relatively satisfied with my purchases, but rarely do I feel like I've gotten great bang for my buck. Getting this mount was one of those rare opportunities. This is an essential product. It has thick levers and screws to assemble the tank with (they are designed to fit into brickwork, which luckily I didn't have to). The mount easily held a 32" Visio TV which was a lot lighter than the mount itself! As befits an adjustable mount, the mount rotates side-to-side and has a slight downward adjustment (somewhere around 8-10 degrees), meaning you can't set it too high, as the lines of sight then something could differ. Although the arms are snug, they are easy to move to achieve the perfect TV setup. Once in the right position, the levers don't move or move at all. The easiest way to use this mount, like I did, is to screw it directly to a wood (or metal) stud in the wall. . That way you have no movement in your hand and your hand should easily support the weight of your TV (which will probably be heavier than mine). In the package you get a variety of screws, brackets and accessories that are said to be used to attach different sized TVs to the bracket. All the parts appear to be well made and solid, although I didn't need them as my TV already came with screws on the back and fitted into the bracket without any additional brackets. And the level. While not the world's most expensive level, the level is particularly useful if you don't have your level or forgot to take it with you as it was accurate and did a lot to ensure the mount wasn't crooked. On the neutral side, on the part of the mount that attaches to the wall and brackets, there are a few plastic pads that don't look particularly impressive and feel flimsy. Aside from looks, they serve no purpose in my opinion, although they do make the mount look prettier and less industrial. They don't affect the mount's power at all (which is a big deal), and if you don't care how they look (I thought they looked good), it doesn't matter because they're easy to manage remove and the bracket will be behind the TV. definitely. All in all an amazing purchase. It's worth 4 cups of coffee at Starbucks for a mount so strong that if installed properly you can probably pull yourself up holding the TV. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Full motion: The flat screen mount slides out of the wall, squeezes, pivots back and forth, and tilts up and down for easier viewing. Ideal for TV and monitor mounting or TV corner wall mount.
