I went to Revain looking for a reliable pillow to elevate my injured leg after suffering DVT from an ACL injury. Raising the leg is crucial! At first I was fascinated by the paperback. It was a heavy foam and was completely blown out of the package within a few hours. There were no weird smells as I've read in other reviews and the two straps were placed within easy reach for tightening if foot adjustment was needed. I'm very glad I chose the big pillow because it's nice to be able to elevate the other leg while sleeping. It is used in our electric sofa chair and our large double bed. The product is well made and I can only recommend it. well and add a second small cushion to lift the heel. During the recovery process, you will learn that nothing should rest on your knee and keep your "toes over your nose" (avoid DVT) when sitting in a chair. If you're comfortable with these simple modifications, this LightEase footstool is still a good buy as your cushions will stay in place in the footstool recess. Believe me, there's nothing worse in bed than trying to maneuver a leg immobilizer on a pile of fallen pillows! I hope you find it as helpful as I have in your recovery.
