I bought this mirror a few years ago for my restored 1976 Jeep CJ7. No problem. Except. The screws holding the mirror to the bracket are short (they should be, the mirror body is so thick). This jeep is used on the tracks. Over time, the screws will loosen or break out of the back panel. Coming home on the freeway, the mirror detached from his hand and flew down the freeway. Luckily there were no traffic jams - this is the land of jeeps. Moral of the story: Check your props often, especially after you've left the track. As they say, jeeps require a lot of maintenance and money.
