Review on 🎨 Vivid & Professional: Derwent ColourSoft Colored Pencils - 72 Count Metal Tin (0701029) by Megan Davis

When I opened the tin I was very excited. The colors are beautiful and I love how they lay down and blend. BUT, in my opinion, they cannot be sharpened without breaking the mines. I broke the leads on 4 pencils on the first day - and they're too expensive for nothing! I've tried different sharpeners and that doesn't seem to be a problem. I don't know if the wires are broken inside or what but I'm sending them back today and spending double the money on a set of Caran D'Ache pencils. I believe it will save me money in the long run as well as disappointments. Derwent knows that's a problem. I saw reviews saying it broke but decided to give it a try. Microwave to see if it melts to the point where it can re-stick. 3 minutes at high speed didn't touch it, so it wasn't a good answer for me. My advice is to drop by if you don't have any money to burn. My advice to Derwent is to FIX this problem!
