Review on Zojirushi Thermal Serve Carafe: 1.0 Liter Capacity, Japan-Made Quality, Polished Stainless Steel by Colleen Bolden

This decanter worked great for about a month and today (2 days after closing the returns window) the inner glass liner broke without falling or being hit will . unusual effect. I heard some rattling as I tilted the carafe to pour, then turned the base and found the liner was broken. My guess is that the liner ripped during shipping and eventually ruptured due to expansion and contraction from heating and cooling during normal use. I used it about 8-10 times a week to brew tea and keep it hot. I contacted the manufacturer who told me there was no manufacturer warranty but I could purchase replacement lenses. I have contacted the Japan_Dealz seller but have not received a reply yet. I will update this review if/when I hear from the seller. Update 3/5/20: Japan_Dealz refunded the purchase, so 5 stars for Japan_Dealz and 1 star for the carafe itself.
