Perfect fit, beautiful design, easy installation
Perfect for our small bathroom makeover. The instructions indicate that the device is only intended for concrete walls, which is not mentioned anywhere in the description. So for a wooden frame you need a mounting plate. I made the mount using 1 1/2 whiteboards (two 1x6s glued together and upgraded to 1/2" x 3" hex head screws). Drill 3" studs through the back of the mounting plate, facing the sink, exactly 5" centered, attach the plate to the wall studs. I made notches in the studs to accommodate the bracket.
