These are not good pens for writing in the Bible.
I bought these pens to emphasize in my Bible because the description says they have a 0.4mm tip and will not bleed through the paper. To be honest, I don't believe any of these statements to be true. The line it draws is at least in the 0.7 to 1.0 range, not 0.4. And yes, they will stain your pages, and they will not only show through the other side of your Bible, but even through thicker paperback pages. I also bought a set of Sharpie Fine Point Art Pens and I have no hesitation in telling you that they are a lot better quality than these things, especially if you're looking for something to write in the Bible with. Also, with Sharpie pens you get a nice desktop case to keep them in, while these pens come in a cheap plastic bag.
- MULTIPURPOSE USE: You can draw sharp and precise contours with the fine tip, while you can paint large areas with the soft brush. If you want to have fun drawing, this set will do.
