This rolled collar looks great on my Australian Cattle Dog. I gave it 4 stars because it was very stiff when it arrived and didn't sit well on her fur. So we soaked it in a little olive oil in a resealable plastic bag for about 3 days to speed up the cracking process. It's much more flexible and much softer. Since skin is skin to skin I chose a chemical free fabric softener, I'm sure other products will work just as well. Update December 2014 She wears the collar every day. It dries quickly when she swims and won't stain her fur when wet. It is still soft and elastic, does not dry out or tear. We are more impressed after the collar has lasted a few months longer than originally.
