I roast coffee for my fiancee and am looking for a place to store the beans we are currently using since our Prepara Evak glass jar broke. I decided to try Airscape for several reasons. First, unlike other coffee containers, it allows me to remove as much air as possible from around the beans without having to vacuum seal them after each use. Once sealed the lid is very difficult to lift which tells me the seal is very good preventing air from entering the container. It's also opaque so I can keep it on the counter. My fiancee really likes the way it looks so she likes it too. It's also very easy to clean. I wash the inside with some dish soap and water and wipe the inside of the lid with a soapy cloth and then a damp cloth. Once dry, it's ready to stay fresh for my beautiful bride's next batch of freshly roasted beans!
