Edit, 2 years later: The included sticky pads are fine but some have fallen off in the last year. They were used to tape 5 ounce spice jars to my fridge so it couldn't handle very heavy loads. It's not that big of an issue to justify a downgrade, but if you want to permanently attach magnets to something, you can use a more powerful method. However, the magnets themselves worked perfectly. First Review: These are strong magnets and the included adhesive pads are the perfect size. The magnets were packaged well and had little plastic discs between each magnet which made it a lot easier to separate them. While I was working with them, a pair slipped out of my hands and hit back into the stack I was working with, but none were damaged. due to impact, so the coating seems quite durable. The only downside is that most magnets appear to have chipped around the edges prior to coating, so not very "pretty". The coating process covered and smoothed out most of these chips without leaving sharp edges, and none of the internal materials were visible, so it's really just a cosmetic issue.
