Review on πŸ‘£ Cressi Tall Neoprene Boots for Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Canyoning - Isla: Italian-designed in 5 & 7 mm Neoprene by Eliot Wahl

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These boots are warm and fit perfectly; even around the ankle

I read the low star reviews so I wanted to write my own because some of the reviews almost put me off and I really missed out on some super good diving boots. So, here's the scoop. I dive for work and play A LOT in San Diego. Cold water. it is winter now. Got 7mm. You didn't disappoint us. My feet were probably the warmest part of my body lol. In the past I've bought cheap $10/$15 pairs on Craigslist and haven't given boots much thought. But I saw the price and because they're not that far from the used stuff I used to buy it was basically worth a little more money. Has water got in through the holes in the trunk? The first thing I looked for in my pair. Not there. Maybe there are holes on the thinner 5mm model? But I. 7mm has no holes. The second bad review I read was that the zipper around the ankle wasn't big enough to fit someone's ankle. I think I have big legs and calves so I was concerned. And still. They were well locked. The way they are made, the zipper doesn't go all the way to the top of the boot; he sits a little lower. Considering you have to wear your wetsuit leggings ABOVE your boot, I really don't see how this would put off divers. Or maybe some of you have thick ankles? However. These are amazing dive boots and for the price I am more than satisfied and I am sure I will buy them again and offer them to my students. The soles are solid, the fit was right, I made a trailing heel to support the fin and I have a nice rubbery texture to protect my toes. I also noticed that the zipper lining has a piece of material at the bottom to keep you from opening it. Great fantasy ;) Anyway. Take them, they are cool, you will feel good and warm!

Pros
