This kit offers a durable and reliable tire repair. Much better than folding plugs. I have it on my bike along with the compressor and multi-tool. You will also need a pair of pliers to attach the end cap as directed. I think it's also better than curved plugs because they rely on the mechanical form of the plug (mushroom head on the inside of the tire) and not just friction to hold it in place. Because of this, I think it's more tolerable. with anti-flat tire additives (like Ride-On) that act as a lubricant for the folding plugs and make them pop out (I've experienced this on the road).
