Doesn't open wide enough to work properly
I bought 2 of these to put a new top on my Minnie Winnie. I found that the strut did not open far enough for the awning leg to engage. And if I could lock it in place by really pushing hard, I wouldn't be able to open it wide enough to remove the leg. I didn't have time to wait for a replacement so I attached a metal file to both brackets to give the mechanism enough room to open and lock and release the leg easily. One was much worse than the other and required a lot of grinding. Now they work as intended after my hard work.
