wow! Just wow! This check valve is incredibly quiet. I have a main drain pump and a backup pump. I have a check valve on each. It was made by a different company and looked different - black with a separate cylindrical side chamber facing up. It's been said to be "quiet," but it's not. I replaced those two check valves with Raybend ones and no more knocking. It doesn't make any noise at all. Wonderful product that works exactly as sold and so easy to install with very clear easy to follow instructions with measurements and all. I highly recommend this low noise check valve. That's great.
