It's a beautiful board, but for me, a 71-year-old woman, it's very heavy.

Happy cutting but like I said it's very heavy so unfortunately I have to resort to light plastic boards most of the time. It washes very well, although there is a stain from the liquid turmeric I spilled on it that doesn't wash off completely. I also saw a video of a woman with a darker, larger, flatter wooden cutting board and I wish I had bought one!
