I first bought this filtration system about 16 months ago from a large department store for a lot of money. Came to Revain to replace it because we liked the concept but it was starting to leak where it attaches to the faucet. It's been redesigned since purchased, and small changes are noticeable: the switch between filtered water and straight-tap, the faucet is now operated with a slider instead of a rotary switch. The switch was always difficult to turn because it was under the faucet and the metal was in the way. Sliding back and forth is easier to achieve and puts less pressure on the entire system because you don't have to. You no longer have to fiddle around to get to the switch. Also, the slider now has 3 options - regular water flow from a faucet, filtered water, and a spray, like a hand-held side sprayer that many sinks have. The convenience of having all three in one is great And now an indicator of if you can still use the filter has been toggled from a green/red circle that moves as the filter gets used to the flashing LED only when you use it you are using a filter . Knowing when it's time to replace your filter is less confusing. We originally bought this because we had a small fridge and it was easier to have filtered tap water than filling a filter jug every day. It hasn't changed, but improvements make it even easier to use multiple times a day!
