I wanted the orange ones but they came as a set. So I bought a set. The vacuum cleaner recognizes which pad is installed by the recesses on the pad. The blue back is designed for spraying large amounts of liquid. Orange represents medium liquid spray. True, there is no liquid for spraying the machine. Nothing spattered when using the orange pad. Examining it, I saw that the cutouts on the orange pad were the same as the white one. That's why the car didn't spray. You can see how the cutouts should look with the original orange pad in the picture. (What I wrote on the back to tell them apart before photographing. The backs are attached with velcro so they can be removed for washing.) You cannot use the backs of disposable pads, they are non-removable and consist from cardboard. (single use) I could use a backing pad for the blue ones but they seem to use too much liquid. The rest of the pads are the same except for the color and backing. They seem pretty durable.
