My daughter has shoe size 4 feet and is 13 months old. I bought socks 12-18M. They fit a little more, but I knew this was going to happen. Washing helped a little. The non-slip bottom is excellent. a great cover. UPDATE: My daughter has been using these for about 2 months and she has size 5 shoes. Socks are well worn (see photo). Since I bought her socks in shoe size 3-7 (1-2 years), they fit quite well. He doesn't "hug" her feet and won't until she's in size 6 or 7 shoes. But by then, your heel will pop out more easily. Overall they are good socks and definitely hold the ground well.
