I use this decoration in 2.5 gallon drum trays with my chickens. I spin it in every one of my aquariums and all the fish love it. When I ordered it online I was worried the whole thing would float as the factory at Fluval is designed to be installed upside down (I think). but actually it is PERFECT for a standard tank of this size or slightly larger. Don't buy it for your 1-1.5 gallons; I did my best. The plant is too big.) Positioning it the way I wanted was a challenge at first. Now I fill the tanks with three or four inches of water, put the decorations in, and then fill them with gravel and spread them out. This puts a lot of strain on the bottom of the net. Then I fill up the tank with water. The two tendrils are absolutely adorable and serve as both hiding places and attractive activities for fish that enjoy swimming around and between them. It also helps me add variety to my aquariums as the tendrils can be moved around, lengthened and tangled neatly at will.) They are actually attached to the mat's mesh plastic with a simple knot so you can adjust them. if you like (I made mine shorter). It is a smooth, stretchy material that is seamless and poses no threat to betta fins. The leaves in the center are more burgundy than the fuchsia, as shown in the photo, but they can be placed and the fish like to rest on them. The colors go well with my blue, red and black/purple fish. The water lilies are simple and realistic which is nice so they don't stand out. They add a nice Asian flair to the tank and I still have room to add a rock sculpture, bridge, elephant or pebble pile. I'm now here on the internet again looking for similar accessories. I want orange! You can't go wrong with this tank decoration!
