These needles were obviously defective from the start and were promptly returned. The day the set arrived, I knitted in one size for about 45 minutes and the point of the needle started to dangle - it was noticeably sliding back and forth along the shaft of the needle. The Karbonz needles feel nice and I wish they would work. It is a pity. A word of caution: if you buy Karbonz, I recommend trying each set right away. Since the needles here generally have very good reviews, I'm wondering if this particular set was stored in an environment that caused the stickiness of the needle (or whatever is holding the tip in place) to degrade. I eventually received a refund but it required help from Revain customer service. Thank you Rewin! I have since purchased a set of ChiaoGoo socks that come in six sizes. The ChiaoGoo set also included a great storage box, needle gauge and some stitch markers.
