Review on 📐 Height Setter Mitutoyo 950 111 0005 by Michael Tegan

I have been in the machining business for 8 years and often use these gauges to set up CNC milling machines. I was so impressed with the accuracy of this zero adjuster that I decided to shell out for it myself. I was disappointed when the first one I received was tied up and didn't show accurate readings. Revain quickly sent out a replacement which, to my dismay, also arrived in non-working condition. I didn't want to wait for the next replacement so I dismantled the whole block. Cleaned, lubricated, assembled and calibrated. Now it works perfectly, but I didn't have to do it with an expensive precision instrument. So I definitely recommend this product if you are lucky enough to get it intact. I think it will be thrown around in a nice oak crate during transport.
