Review on 655 High-Viscosity Pre-Blended Epoxy Adhesive by Justin Vasquez

In 2005 I bought a 5 person molded polyethylene hot tub. Being a jack of all trades, of course I kept it after all these years. Numerous renewals of engine, heater etc. But last year when moving I struggled with a large crack in the bottom edge of the seat. I've tried almost ALL suggested repair methods and sealants, including plastic welding. Some of the "repairs" took a week or two and then failed. I even went as far as contacting the company that bought V*ta Spa and spoke to one of their engineers who was familiar with the manufacturing process of my spa and they were not aware of any easily repairable products made of polyethylene. After about 20 repair attempts, it was time to give up, said the wife. Then I found the G Flex 655! I followed the directions as directed, making sure to 'set fire' to the area with a torch before applying. The first application stopped 95% of the leak but I still had a small tear in the G Flex itself due to the weight of the water. I emptied the tub and applied another coat on top of the first coat. It's been over a month and it's holding up! It's not the prettiest material as it turns yellowish brown after drying, but all I can say is IT WORKS! Thank you G Flex!
