I've been buying Keen boots for over 15 years. Honestly only had a couple pairs, they lasted forever. These are nothing like what I've had before. I wish they still made the Anchorage Boot for women. The opening is not 5 inches. I'm putting on a pair of Wolverine Hightops because I don't want to fight with getting the Keen's on. I sent a message on Keen's website before I bought these to see if they were the original width model or the new "narrower" model. They said these were built on the original. Nope, they aren't, or their sizing is off. I'd send them back, but I thought I would suck it up and wear them in the barn. Decided after one day, I'm not sucking it up, I'm looking for a new boot manufacturer. These are going to goodwill. On top of it all, they only had black in my size and they are uglier than dirt, they look like black rubber.
