I replaced the HDD with an SSD. I have done this many times. When I run the IMAGE install, the system says the SSD is too small. I knew the drive wasn't even 30% full, but I didn't think the HDD was 500GB and the new replacement SSD was 480GB. So I needed more than 500 GB. This SSD sounds good and it was 512GB. The price was actually less than the 480 I had. I popped in a NEW 512GB SSD and everything ran smoothly. I had an extra 11GB drive from the extra space. An SSD significantly increased boot times and overall performance. I love SSDs. Now how long will that take?
