This is great! I have a ceiling fan that has an odd angle for the pull chain. About every 2-3 years it becomes almost impossible to pull and for a while I didn't really get what was going on but after about 10 years I realized I had to replace the pull chain derailleur for the 5th time. So I looked it over carefully and saw that the chain had worn a channel through the guide causing it to bind almost every time it was pulled and when friends who weren't used to it tried it Turning on or off does not respond normally, pushes too hard and pulls harder. So I was about to order and looked online for a replacement and found this one and although the price seemed high I thought well if it really works from every angle then it's worth it. So I ordered one. I had to drill the mounting hole is larger but that's not a problem. I'm just glad I didn't have to drill it smaller. After installing the derailleur, I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it pulls. It took me a few days to get used to pulling it with less effort. It was well built though as my power jerks didn't damage it at all. I'm very satisfied, it works every time. Now I'm planning on ordering a full box of these as soon as I can, so I'll have them on hand. I like it.
