I have been sleeping on the pillow for the past three nights. After the first night, the pain in the neck went away, and it did not return the following time. When placed beneath the back, it causes immediate discomfort and eventually pain. This and a standard pillow don't really differ all that much from one another. Consequently, I am really content. Has some advantages, including the following: it doesn't become too hot, it's not too high or too low, it's more comfy than a cheap pillow, but it's still not heaven or earth, and it shapes itself back up on its own. Some cons: -There is room for improvement -I did not experience any kind of chilling effect -At first, I had pain in my neck (you need to get some rest, and it will go away)
