This torch is more affordable because it has only one stabilizer bar instead of two. A bent shank can result in inaccurate cutting. While it's natural/tempting to grab a cutter by the pole, it's not necessary and how and where you store it should solve any problem. However, if others will be using it, consider a more stable setup, even if it's more expensive. The cutter I bought from Revain is very accurate and smooth. Although they don't say so, the blade is self-sharpening and makes razor-sharp cuts. However, it's difficult to see exactly where the cut will be. Defect. I bought a long battery powered flashlight under the closet to put under the paper/picture/cardboard so I can see exactly where the razor blade is going to land. Works very well. This cutter says it cuts 10 sheets of paper at a time. That's a gross exaggeration. One piece is tight. This works fine for my needs. However, if you want to make several, I recommend that you buy an improved (i.e. more expensive) model compared to this one. You put paper on top and then cut it off and you have a straight document. Drag it down and look at the grid lines. The black paper holder screws down to hold any paper where you want it. This doesn't help much when you're cutting at the bottom of the torch closest to the operator. It cuts beautifully and is easy to use. I think if I had to do it again I would buy an upgrade. It would have been worth the 50β¬ surcharge.
